Context & Need
The smart card industry requires precise chip implanting solutions for prototyping, low-volume production, and laboratory testing. Traditional high-speed industrial machines are not ideal for small runs, material validation, and R&D purposes.
To address this, manufacturers and developers need a flexible, precise, and compact manual chip implanting machine that supports various materials and smart card technologies, including biometric sensors and dual-interface cards.
Developed Solution
The BGi051H is a manual insertion chip implanting machine using hotmelt technology, designed for small-scale smart card production and prototyping. Below are the key technical aspects that make it an ideal solution.
-
✅ Touchscreen Interface: Stores up to 30 programs, allowing quick adjustments for different implanting requirements.
✅ Standalone Operation: No need for integration into an automated production line, making it perfect for R&D environments and small-scale production.🔹 How it meets the need:
For custom projects and prototyping, adaptability is key. The BGi051H allows fast switching between implanting configurations without requiring a complex industrial setup. -
✅ Implanting Accuracy: X, Y: 0.025mm, ensuring precise positioning of smart card chips.
✅ Hotmelt Technology: Uses heat-activated adhesive for secure chip attachment.
✅ Cold Glue (Potting) Option: Available for smart objects such as batteries, displays, and buttons.🔹 How it meets the need:
Manufacturers and researchers need a versatile implanting method that ensures strong chip adhesion while maintaining high precision. -
✅ Not Dependent on Card Thickness: Works with standard and thicker smart cards.
✅ Compatible Materials: PVC, PET, ABS, PC, and dual-interface card prototyping.
✅ Biometric Sensor Embedding: Supports single or multi-press embedding for biometric smart cards.🔹 How it meets the need:
As smart card technology evolves, thickness and material variations increase. The BGi051H supports a wide range of card types, making it an adaptable solution. -
✅ Processing Speed: Up to 600 units per hour, depending on configuration.
✅ Multi-Head Option: Supports up to 6 pressing heads, increasing implanting efficiency.
✅ Supports ID3 and Custom Dimensions: Adapts to different card sizes.🔹 How it meets the need:
Prototyping and R&D require quick iterations without compromising quality. The BGi051H provides efficient implanting speeds for low-volume production. -
✅ Dimensions: 580mm (W) x 460mm (D) x 640mm (H) – Compact enough for desktop or lab use.
✅ Weight: 51 kg, making it easy to integrate into different workspaces.
✅ Power Consumption: 350W maximum (+100W per extra head).
✅ Pneumatic Pressure: 6 bars, ensuring consistent implanting force.🔹 How it meets the need:
Many high-volume implanting machines require large industrial setups. The BGi051H’s compact size makes it ideal for R&D, university labs, and low-volume production facilities.
